  • Anyone facing the possibility of limb loss or amputation

  • Anyone with existing limb loss or amputation

When should someone be seen?

In short, anytime in your care journey:

  • If facing the possibility of limb loss or amputation

  • At the time of amputation

  • Immediately after undergoing amputation

  • Years after the amputation

What levels of amputation are treated in this clinic?

Upper extremity amputations

  • Single digit (finger or thumb)

  • Multiple digits

  • Partial hand

  • Wrist disarticulation

  • Transradial (below elbow)

  • Elbow disarticulation

  • Transhumeral (above elbow)

Lower extremity amputations

  • Transtibial (below knee amputation or BKA)

  • Knee diarticulation

  • Transfemoral (above knee amputation or AKA)
